    Addiction Treatment for Zimbabweans

Licensed residential treatment for alcohol, drugs, medication and behavioural addictions.

Addiction rarely comes alone. Behind it there is often trauma, stress, depression or anxiety, and lasting recovery means treating all of it together.

Hillhouse Clinics offers full residential addiction treatment in Cape Town for Zimbabwean clients: detox, daily therapy, psychiatric care, a family programme and a year of aftercare.

    • Alcohol and drug dependence
    • Prescription medication and codeine dependence
    • Gambling and gaming addiction
    • Co-occurring depression, anxiety and trauma
    • Admission within 24 to 48 hours
    • Primary Care: approximately USD 1,504.80 per week for eight weeks in Cape Town. Re-entry: approximately USD 1,128.60 per week for four weeks near Harare. Full 12-week programme: approximately USD 16,552.80, all-inclusive with no additional programme costs.

    How our treatment works

The programme combines individual psychotherapy, trauma-focused therapy, group process work and the 12-step framework, alongside exercise, nutrition and a structured daily routine.

    Three phases

Stabilisation and detox in the first weeks, then in-depth therapeutic work, then preparation for returning home with a concrete relapse-prevention plan.

    For families in Zimbabwe

Families join remote sessions to understand the illness and prepare for their loved one's return. Our team can also run an assessment in Harare or an intervention in Zimbabwe.
