Addiction Assessment in Harare
A confidential professional assessment, in person in Harare or by video.
Before deciding on treatment, it helps to know exactly what you are dealing with. A professional assessment looks at substance use, physical and mental health, risks during withdrawal and the support available at home.
Hillhouse Clinics offers assessments for Harare families in person in Harare or by video call, followed by a clear recommendation.

What the assessment covers
We ask about the history and pattern of use, earlier treatment, medical history, mood, sleep and relationships. If relatives are involved, we also hear their perspective.
What comes next
You receive a recommendation: residential treatment, a different form of care, or family support first. If residential treatment is right, admission can usually happen within 24 to 48 hours.
When the person is not ready
If your loved one refuses an assessment, we can still advise the family and, if appropriate, prepare an intervention.
